MOT at Johnstone's Garage


We carry out class 4 & 7,including  motor homes and taxi MOT's onsite.

All work is carried out by our fully trained MOT technicians, using the latest workshop technology, tools and vehicle diagnostic equipment.  Our team can give you accurate and honest advice to help you get your vehicle through its MOT test as smoothly as possible. The 30 point eCheck will be sent via email to assist you in making any decisions.

The MOT ensures that your vehicle meets the minimum legal safety level.

Without a current MOT certificate, it’s illegal to drive your vehicle or renew your road fund license. And now the MOT testing system has been computerised, police and mobile camera units can check remotely whether your vehicle has a current MOT or not.

MOTs are a legal requirement in the UK. Currently vehicle aged 3 years or over must be tested each year.

Please remember, it’s your responsibility to have your vehicle tested every 12 months.

Your vehicle may require additional work in order to pass your MOT but the test itself does not include any repairs or replacement parts.

The test ensures the vehicle is safe to drive but doesn’t mean the car is running as well as it could be. That’s where a service will help…
